What You’ll Do

As a Game QA Tester, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough testing on various platforms (console, PC, mobile) to identify bugs and performance issues.
• Working closely with developers to ensure that all gameplay elements function correctly.
• Documenting found defects accurately and clearly, along with any steps to reproduce the issues.
• Participating in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and provide feedback on your testing experience.
• Collaborating with other QA testers to create a focused and effective testing strategy.
• Performing regression testing to ensure previous issues are resolved in subsequent builds.
• Staying updated on gaming industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance testing methods.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Strong passion for video games and knowledge of different gaming genres.
• Experience in QA testing within the gaming industry (preferably 1-2 years).
• Familiarity with QA processes, methodologies, tools, and bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Some technical knowledge related to game development (e.g., programming languages, game design principles) is a plus.
