Role Overview
As a Passenger Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our passengers have a smooth and enjoyable travel experience. You will serve as the primary point of contact for travelers, assisting them with check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and addressing any queries they may have regarding their flights or airport services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist passengers with check-in processes, including issuing boarding passes and baggage tagging.
- Provide information on flight schedules, gate changes, and airport services.
- Handle passenger inquiries and resolve issues such as delayed flights or lost baggage.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations while assisting passengers.
- Collaborate with other team members to deliver excellent service and efficiently manage passenger flow.
- Support travelers needing assistance, including elderly, disabled, or unaccompanied minors.
- Maintain accurate records of passenger interactions and transactions.
- Promote airline’s products and services to enhance passenger experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or related fields is a plus.
- Prior experience in customer service, particularly in the travel or airline industry, is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in using computers and airport systems; ability to learn on the job is necessary.
