Position Overview

As a Virtual QA professional, you will be responsible for conducting thorough testing of our software applications to identify bugs and ensure optimal performance. Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product specifications and requirements.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software applications across various platforms, including web and mobile.
• Identify and document defects, tracking them through resolution in a clear and concise manner.
• Implement testing best practices and methodologies to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take ownership of testing efforts and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
• Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to contribute to the agile development process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestRail, or similar is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to document findings and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a virtual environment.
